‘fat controllers’ of the rail industry in pixie video |

|
Government minister Geoff Hoon, Sir Richard Branson, and Brian Souter are starring in a special Christmas video released by rail passenger group, TrainSardine.org. The video shows ‘fat controller’ rail bosses dressed as pixies dancing for Christmas joy at the millions they make, while overseeing chaos on the railways. A spokesperson for TrainSardine.org said, “For months passengers have been complaining to rail companies about the shortage of carriages, no weekend trains and reductions in service, such as the 50% reduction recently made by Virgin on some of its lines. Everyone blames everyone else for the problems.” “There seems to be a group of about 14 men in the UK, who decide who gets to work on time and who is left standing on the platform or packed into over-crowded trains. These ‘fat controllers’ of the rail industry make our lives a misery, they are very well paid and some of them make millions. I am sure they are jumping with glee at the profits they make while we suffer” Starring in the ‘fat controller’ pixie video are: Geoff Hoon-Secretary for Transport, Sir Richard Branson-Head of Virgin, Tim Shoveller-MD of East Midlands Trains, Brian Souter-Stagecoach, Ian Coucher-Head of Network Rail. |
